A porch comes in all lengths and widths. The biggest factor to how big you can go is the height of the main building ceiling.  

You have the option to do vinyl wrapped posts and beams (not shown). Also an option is to do a steel ceiling (shown) - this is recommended not only for aesthetics but also to keep bird problems to a minimum.
